Sarah Voisin is an award-winning photographer, editor, and educator with decades of experience in visual storytelling and documentary journalism. She spent 30 years at The Washington Post covering major national and international stories with a focus on social change, human rights, and underrepresented communities. Her work is rooted in long-term, deeply reported projects and collaborative storytelling.
Beyond the newsroom, She is the co-founder and co-director of Women Photojournalists of Washington. For twenty years, she has led initiatives advancing equity, education, mentorship, and community within visual journalism, while supporting and mentoring the next generation of photographers.
